"The Guild" as it is known, is a collection of tile trade artisans(hundreds and counting) that have formed a community around the idea of artisanship in the tile trade. What was once thought to be a stagnant art form has seen new life. All tile artisans start somewhere, and often it is with a compass rose desgin. The Guild being an artistic organization, wanted me to also create a "tile muse" as a mascot as well(below).
